Gastronomy is a fundamental part of the Hotel Balcón de Córdoba, a typical Cordovan house with its traditional courtyard. Recently renovated, it belonged to the former convent of the Encarnación, built in 1510. It combines in perfect harmony the beauty of its architecture and its surroundings in the heart of the Jewish quarter, declared a World Heritage Site, with views of the Mosque-Cathedral.

Sheltered by the walls of the main house, we offer two gastronomic spaces distinguished by their history, scenography, and menu, where you can taste the delights of our culinary and wine menus.

On the one hand, there is our courtyard and lounge featuring a centennial orange tree from which we get inspiration as use as main ingredient for some of our homemade dishes. A meeting place with the tranquility of the fountain water and the natural ventilation and freshness that characterizes a Cordovan courtyard. It is a perfect setting to enjoy an author’s lunch or dinner in a natural and historical environment.

On the other hand, there is our terrace overlooking the Mosque-Cathedral, where you can enjoy, from noon until the evening, our selection of wines and cocktails accompanied by typical Cordovan tapas and sweets.

Two environments, with very different proposals, that adapt to all tastes and where you can taste traditional and innovative dishes made with fresh, local, and seasonal products.
