The moment you enter this charming hotel you are welcomed as if you are coming home. From the reception staff, the servers, housekeeping…everyone is committed to your enjoyable stay. I knew at our first visit that this would be the place to host my husband and my 20th wedding anniversary event and we couldn’t have made a better choice. We celebrated last weekend but had planned for months. The setting, food and the fabulous rooftop deck made everything so memorable. Even our weekend stays are elevated when we are there. Each room has flowers, fresh fruit-all the special touches. We’ve stayed here at least 5 times and are always looking forward to our next visit. What I especially love is that we see the same group of dedicated staff who take great pride in their work. Special shout out to Sara Cano who dealt with my numerous emails regarding our event, including helping us secure transportation, reservations at outside restaurants, live entertainment etc. Even if you are staying somewhere else in town I urge you to stop by this enchanting hotel for a drink or dessert on their rooftop. The views of the Mesquita and the river, especially at sunset are magical. This place is a must-see!

An absolute gem! Could not recommend this hotel more. The rooms are charming and the staff could not be more accommodating. The restaurant is also very good. The location is perfect. You're a two minute walk to the cathedral/mosque. 5 stars!!!

This 10 room hotel will meet, and exceed, all your needs and expectations. Wonderfully situated within a couple of hundred yards from the Mezquita, it is within easy walking distance of pretty well anywhere you would like to visit. Sarah greeted us with great care and attention and made great dinner recommendations. Breakfast was excellent. We had traveled to Cordoba by train, so we did not have to cope with narrow lanes and I strongly recommend that you clearly understand what to do with your car before driving into the old part of town.

Hotel and staff - Excellent hotel with lovely staff in all areas. Decor - Beautiful decor and in a historic building. The garden patio - courtyard full of plants and an orange tree is also so lovely - right in the middle of the hotel. Also - The best sangria in town ! Rooms and terrace - Spotlessly clean and possible to get great views of the city. Position - Right in the heart of the city centre - a very short distance to the mosque cathedral and centre of Córdoba.

Nice hotel. Helpful staff. Really just around the corner from the Mezquita. Rooftop view was lovely. Breakfast was good. Our room was nice though since it is an old building the window was small and really to the interior corridor but that didn't really bother us. Our room did get pretty cold the first night but staff was very accommodating with bringing more blankets. They also made us a nice to go breakfast when we had to leave early to catch the train.

I am, perhaps, one of the most hypercritical reviewers you will come across. The Balcón de Córdoba will be the hotel & staff & food & location that few other hotels will challenge. I spent 4 weeks with my son traveling from the North of Spain to Andalusia. We stayed at many excellent hotels, but none compares with my favorite— the Balcón de Córdoba. I look forward to returning. I cannot say enough about the staff and how gracious there were. I also feel that the chef of the Balcón de Córdoba is wonderfully creative. Yes, he should have a cookbook and for sure a cooking class with him would be great fun. I would have loved to done an olive oil tasting during my trip. Next time. I thank all at this grand Hotel for creating indelible memories for my son and I. Muchas gracias a todos. Que preciosa y un gran finale a nuestro viaje. Bravo.

The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. We stayed in the Maryam suite (with deep tub) and it was lovely and spacious. The full breakfast in the peaceful courtyard was perfect. Views from the upper terrace were outstanding. The staff were all exceptionally kind! Quite helpful when we got lost navigating our rental car on narrow ancient cobblestone roads filled with pedestrians. They even took the extra step to come find us and guide us to the right place! Highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of the Jewish quarter yards from the cathedral/mosque. Stunning views from the roof terrace over the old town. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely too. I honestly can't praise this hotel highly enough.
